Since its founding as an outreach of the church in 1973, Lord of Life Lutheran Preschool, located in Fairfax, has had thousands of children as part of its creative and joyful program. We strive to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing atmosphere for preschool children from both the church and surrounding community.

The Preschool is a direct ministry of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and reflects the church's commitment to early childhood education and to the children, families, and community it serves. The preschool is a non-profit Christian school and is open to all children regardless of religious or ethnic background. The Preschool is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services.

We believe that learning and playing go hand and hand for the preschool-age child. Play is the natural way children try out ideas, make choices, practice grown-up behavior and develop a sense of control over their world. Young children learn best when they have an opportunity to practice their intellectual, physical and social skills through activities of their own choosing as well as activities structured by our trained staff.

We offer half day, morning preschool for children ages 2 1/2 to 5. Our program operates September (after Labor Day) through the first Friday after Memorial Day. We also offer a short summer camp during June.

Registration for currently enrolled students begins at 9 a.m. on February 2, 2012.  Registration for children of alumni, church members, and siblings of former students begins on February 3.  Registration opens for the public on February 13, 2012.
